CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!

It is a great pleasure for me to announce as well as congratulate Lincoln Chia and the compositing team of Jeffrey Koh and Lam Yao Chen for winning big at this years Crowbar Awards 2008.

The experimental short film, Mu Gui Ying, won the Crowbar Award for Best in Film Category as well as the Gold Award for Experimental Film Category.

Mu Gui Ying is a chinese opera piece about the classic showdown between legendary Song Dynasty heroine, Mu Gui Ying, and her arch enemy general, Xiao Tian Zhuo. This chinese opera features a fully CGI-rendered background and special effects unlike anything seen before in local short films so far.

I am proud and glad to have taken up the challenge to participate in this production as the cinematographer and editor. And I would like to thank you director, Lincoln Chia, for this wonderful opportunity.
